Skydive Surinam Boogie 2007: Courses

During the Boogie, Skydive Surinam will provide AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) courses.
AFF stands for a course that teaches with a progressive method the Accelerated Free Fall. This method of skydive training is called "accelerated" because the progression is the fastest way to experience solo freefall.
This is the ideal method to initiate skydiving.
No need to start with a Tandem jump.

AFF Course
The AFF program provides a private instruction, which allows you to require the necessary skills for free fall jumps in a quick and safe way.
Due to this progressive tempo, you’ll be able to obtain your AFF certificate in a period that normally would take you a three to four times longer period.
The program has a first phase (an extensive ground course), that isn’t any different from the other programs. After the first phase however, the course is entirely different.
After the extensive ground course you will be jumping from the first one on from an altitude of 10.000 feet.

Courses continued

The course has a total of 19 jumps. Two instructors will be attending the first 3 jumps (levels) with the student. During the freefall the instructors will keep you in the middle. After these jumps, four additional jumps will be attended by 1 instructor. In case a jump (level) must be refreshed, you can buy an extra, single jump. This method allows you to progress these 7 jumps (levels) on your own speed. The 7th jump is the examination jump and the remaining two jumps are solo's.
Because of the extensive ground course and the supervision during the jump, the exit and freefall techniques will be successfully achieved. In accordance with your growing practice you’ll see that performing aerial maneuvers such as turn left / right, salto forward / backward will go practically without effort.

Follow-up courses to obtain the “A” Certificate are also possible during the Boogie.
Principal requiremet is having finalised the AFF course successfully.

- 10 individual jumps of which 5 jumps with instructor (a total of 15 jumps).

- “A” Certificate.
